January 2011 Update

Hello All. Long time no post, right? I recently deactivated my Facebook account- since then several people have said...

"How will we keep up with the kids?"

" How will we see photos?"

"Nooo. You can't do that!"

And the occasional text or phone call....
"Ummm. Did you de-friend me on Facebook"

I decided this would force me to update our family blog more than once a year!

I hope it does- anyway! :)

Without further a do... This is a update from September through January. I'm sure by the end of this- you'll totally be sick of seeing our faces.

In October we went to North Carolina. Chelsea moved this past summer. And we had an amazing visit.
Hudson's first plane ride. (That he can remember)

Aunt Cece and her "favorite people". First trip to the ocean for Hudson and Hadleigh.

Sister didn't know what to think of the sand between her toes. She warmed up quickly and didn't want to leave.

Anyone that knows me... knows that I have a horrible phobia of ocean life. UGH. This photo just gives me anxiety looking at it. Chelsea took Hudson out to a sand bar. (Is that what you call them?)
He thought it was amazing. This child has absolutely no fear of the ocean.

Visiting Aunt Cece at her second job. If you ever make it to North Carolina- South Port to be specific- You HAVE to try Island Way restaurant. The view is spectacular and the food is divine.

Near the end of the week the weather changed. It was a little chilly. You know, 60's. :)
But we enjoyed the sounds of the ocean and shell hunting.

Sister loves the ocean. And I love her.

We LOVE North Carolina.
(Ignore my silly face)

In October...
Hudson had his "Harvest Party" and sister tagged along.
Hudson playing at the "sensory table". He tells me this is his favorite center to visit at school.

You would never know sister is almost 2. She LOVES going to "school" and blends right in.

Hudson is holding a "bubble" in his mouth and "hugging" himself.
The kiddos do this when the teacher is talking to them.

 Sister wants a snack too.

 Story time with his classmates.

Craft time at the green table!

Sister is doing a little "house keeping".

Waiting patiently for a snack and showing gratitude for those that prepared the food.

October also brought some trick or treating.
Hudson insisted he wear his Captain Hook costume.
He had worn it before and to some pirate themed birthday parties. But! He really wanted to wear it... and he wanted sister to be Tinkerbelle. I honestly haven't seen a cuter Hook or Tink in my life.

 Seriously. They melt my heart.

First Halloween in our new neighborhood. And it was a success!

Uh-oh. It looks like Darth wants a little sword action from Hook.
Hudson and his buddy Mr. L.

 Two buddies in action.

 Daddy and his sweet girl.

Hudson doesn't understand why we can ask neighbors for candy all the time. :)

Our big girl.

November brought a beautiful crisp day.  We enjoyed a day at the zoo with Gram and Papa Owen

 Mommy and her boy.

Papa showing the kiddos the birds.

Hudson thinks he MUST take a photo at each zoo statue.

The kids thought Papa was too funny! He would scratch the pigs back and he would squeal.

 Miss. H enjoying the zoo.

Christmas was quite magical this year. Josh and I LOVED the excitement on Hudson's face. The lights, the tree, visiting Santa, Harvey our Elf. The kid could barely contain his excitement. Sissy loved it too- but could have done with out a trip to see Santa. :)

 Hudson putting reindeer food out.

Peanut butter cookies and milk for Santa

 It looks like Santa came!

 Hadleigh pushing her "gross-wee" cart.

 Look at my baby, daddy!

 Princess shoes.

 He had so much fun.

He loves puzzles and this one is as tall as he is.

 Spider man shoes!

Sister got some "gocks"- blocks. :)

 He is a Leggo boy.

 A new Thunder jersey!

 Happy girl.

 Christmas at Gram and Papas.

 Santa delivered a stroller!

 Silly boy.

 Goofy girl.

 Aunt Cece you are crazy.

Santa may have brought Cece a old school phone attachment for her cell phone.

 He LOVES Christmas!

If you hung on this long- we hope you enjoyed catching up with us!
